Moore Cataloging Procedures

General Policy

The CDs and accompanying pieces in this group of recordings (music CDs and independent spoken word CDs) will all be inter-shelved together using one call number enumeration.

Give the titles accession numbers in numerical order as cataloged, e.g. CD 1, CD 2, CD 3, etc.

To find the last number used, do a call number search in Cataloging on the term CD.

All pieces that come with the CD title will receive a label with Aud.CD above the call number.

They will all receive a blue dot to guide shelvers. (MQ, 6/2008)

MH's CD #s: 131-140.
