Laptop Loaner Program
The Moore and Talbott Libraries have laptop computers for loan.
The laptops can be checked out from the circulation desk for use inside of the Library by Rider University students only**. The computers are loaned for a period of two (2) hours and are not allowed to leave the library. They are equipped with Windows OS, web browsers, Microsoft Office, and anti-virus software. The laptops have a wireless network card so that they can get on the Internet using the "nowiress" wireless access points located inside of the buildings. These access points provide wireless network access to all public areas of the libraries. If you have your own laptop computer with a wireless card, you may use it in either library. A late fee in the amount of $20.00 will be charged for not bringing the computer back on time. If the computer is lost a fee of $1700.00 will be charged.
**Faculty or Staff members who wish to borrow laptop computers should contact the Rider OIT HelpDesk by email helpdesk@rider.edu or phone (609) 219-3000.
