Need materials University Libraries does not own?  Use Interlibrary Loan to get an article or book from another library.

University Library provide Interlibrary Loans for current Rider students, faculty, staff, and retired faculty. When the University Library do not have access to materials in its collection, the Library may obtain it from another library through interlibrary loan.  For physical materials, allow up to two weeks for materials to be received and processed. For electronic materials, allow up to 48 hours  for materials to be received and processed. The borrower is notified by e-mail when the item is received.

  • Use the Journal link on the library website to see if the journal is available in any RU Library databases or by subscription. For help locating the ISSN, please see https://guides.rider.edu/issn.

  • For help locating the ISBN, please check the full citation if found in one of the Worldcat or check Amazon.com

  • Please verify any generative artificial intelligence (AI) generated citations before submitting the request to Tipasa (University Library at Rider University's Interlibrary Loan System). Generative AI is susceptible to providing false outputs known as 'hallucinations'.  AI hallucinations may have incorrect facts or citations.  If you are unable to verify an AI generated citation but would still like to place the Tipasa request, please let us know in the 'Notes' field of the request that the citation was AI-generated.

Document Delivery (Photocopy Request)

 

Want quick access to articles, book chapters, microfilm and microfiche in the University Library?  Use document delivery and we will send you your materials via email!.

Upon Request, University Library offers document delivery or photocopy services of materials that are in our library collections. Patrons may request book chapters, journal articles, or material on microfilm and microfiche owned by University Library, which will then be delivered to you via email.  To place a document delivery request, complete either the article or book request form.
