The Association of American Medical Colleges has information on medical school enrollments for US and Canadian schools. This site has a lot of useful information including medical school admission requirements, the application process, etc.
Wikipedia has an entry listing present American medical schools, ones that no longer exist, and new ones--updated Jan. 18, 2011 and includes the new Cooper-Rowan medical school.
For International Medical Schools:
The World Health Organization has a list of medical schools but it is dated 2007.
The Institute for International Medical Education has a database dating from 2006.
