McNair Scholars Program: Information Literacy Strand

The TRiO/McNair Scholars Program is geared toward enhancing those skills and experiences that will be required to compete successfully in graduate school.


This research guide will help you research your selected topics offering direction, strategies, and general research basics.  Use the tabs and their subpages above to assist you in finding appropriate resources for your topics in order to complete your research assignments.

Interlibrary Loan  (under "Requests") When the material needed is not in the RUL libraries, fill out the online form and the InterLibrary Loan service can get it for you.

NoodleTools & Style Guides  (under "Research & Information") leads you to the citation tool, NoodleTools, which generates references in APA, Chicago, or MLA style. Check out the tab, Citing Sources, for more directions on creating a Works Cited page for your research paper.
