Welcome to the first Rider Libraries Blog post!
We are happy that you have found your way here. In this blog, we hope to keep you up to date with new library events, trial databases, questions of the week, and other library resource related information. We may discuss broad, global issues happening in the library world, such as open access and copyright, or we may talk about very specific issues in the Moore Library building’s physical spaces (study rooms, printers, etc). Some posts will be written by Talbott librarians with a primary focus on music while others will be penned by Moore librarians with a more general, liberal arts approach. Our goal is to share blog posts with you once a week, though we will also remain flexible as topics present themselves.
For this first post, our sincere hope is that you utilize the library and librarians for your end-of-the-semester research needs. Whether it is week out and you are looking to make an appointment with a subject specialist librarian or mere hours away from your paper’s due date (shh, we never tell) and you need one more scholarly source, please reach out! You can find all of the ways to Ask-a-Librarian at guides.rider.edu/ask.
We wish you all the best of luck in your research endeavors now and into the future!
