Poster advertising GSS minor with the text" A Minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies (GSS) will help you understand how and why perceptions and expectations of gender and sexuality affect the way that individuals think and act. GSS courses explore historical and current debates on American and global issues related to gender and sexual equality, reproductive rights, domestic partnerships, sports, health, media coverage, and law. Our GSS alumni work in education, business and nonprofit management, social services, law, writing, human resources, health, and medicine. The annual GSS Colloquium features student panels and a keynote speaker. GSS minors receive first preference for the Virginia Cyrus Scholarship awarded annually.
