Welcome to WMS!

To introduce you to different modules before more specific training by us:

May 7: Personalized training will follow once our item and patron data is accessible in the system (May).
- The videos listed under the "Self-paced training" link under each section cover all possible topics. Feel free to explore them all!
By Friday 4/4: PLEASE REVIEW NEXT WEEK'S ASSIGNMENT. ALL STAFF SHOULD REVIEW CIRC.

5/6/25: Patron data reloaded and staff accounts are active again.

3/19/25: Staff accounts not yet active.

When set-up, you will log in via Rider Key.
Your role will determine which tabs you see (for example, Acquisitions, Cataloging, Interlibrary Loan)

WMS Discovery
Our new catalog and discovery tool. Replaces Sierra and Library One Search (EDS.) A new search box will replace the one on the library webpage when we go live.

Users can limit to resources in University Library or open up a search to Libraries Worldwide.

3/19/25:

Our new locations and item data have not been added yet.
- Talbott Music Collections holdings are not yet reflected
- What you are seeing is existing WorldCat holdings and additions from the KB (e-resources).
SW and MH are working on our e-holdings in the Knowledge Base (KB) in Collection Manager.
- Our ebook collections (subscription and purchased) are turned on.
- Our subscription streaming media collections are turned on.
  - Purchased and hosted streaming media (MediaSpace, New Day, etc.) in process; need to create local collection.
- MH is checking linking to make sure the link resolver works for each collection.
- Database and journal packages are in process.
