[Music plays as the “Rider Library Minutes” logo fades onto screen.]

[Logo becomes smaller and moves to the top-left area of the screen as if to simulate a news cast. The speaker is revealed to be sitting on a chair with her back to the camera. As the speaker turns around, they begin to speak.]

So, you have a research paper due in one of your classes, and your professor asks that you only use academic sources. So where do you begin?

[Logo fades out.]

Well it turns out the Rider Libraries offer plenty of resources to help you through all the steps of your research.

[Fade out of speaker and into a recorded step-by-step tutorial of the website.]

To get to the site, go to the Rider homepage, click on the current students tab, scroll down to libraries. From there, click on the research guides, and then you’ll have all the research help you need at your fingertips. On this site you’ll find a wide selection of courses which point to databases tools and other resources that were organized for you by Rider’s expert librarians.

If your specific class isn’t on there, don’t fret. There are a large number of tutorials for general research which will give you all the necessary help for any research paper.

[Fade out of the website and back to the speaker.]

So now thanks to the Rider Libraries, you will have a better, quicker, easier research paper. This has been Julia with the Rider Libraries Minute.

[Fade out of speaker and into a title page underscored by music. Title page includes the “Rider Library Minutes” logo, as well as the Rider University official logo.]
