Public libraries like Mercer County Library are a good source for pleasure reading and popular DVDs and CDs.
They also offer items that can be borrowed remotely with your Mercer County Library card such as eBooks, audiobooks and streaming music and videos.

Rider students, faculty, and staff may borrow books and other items from the Mercer County Library.
- Students: Bring your Rider ID and a copy of your current class schedule or tuition bill to qualify for a library card.
- Faculty and staff must show ID and proof of employment with Rider.
- Online Library Card ApplicationIf you live, work, or go to school within the boundaries of East Windsor, Ewing, Hightstown, Hopewell Township, Lawrence, Robbinsville, or West Windsor townships, you may obtain a free library card! These are temporary cards that will expire after three months. They are entered by one of our employees periodically between the hours of 10am and 4pm, Monday through Friday, and if you file a request after 4pm, you may not be issued one until the following day. In order to obtain your physical card, please visit the branch you indicate on the application within three months and be sure to bring valid ID.
