Streaming Media

University Library offers two streaming video services to meet your academic needs and cover a wide variety of scholarly and popular topics. The services can be viewed on or off-campus and can be embedded into Canvas.

Additionally, University Library has 31 licensed titles available on Rider's Mediaspace.  All streaming media titles may be found through the University Library catalog and limiting to “Videorecording” under the Format filter.

Budget permitting, University Library may purchase additional streaming media to support pedagogy and research. For general questions regarding streaming media acquisitions, please contact swhitfield@rider.edu.

Kanopy

University Library offers access to an academic version of Kanopy (Kanopy BASE/KBASE) for the Rider Community, which includes selected titles from the Criterion collection, A24, New Day, Kino Lorber, PBS, and other content providers.

Titles available in Kanopy can change over time depending on agreements with rights holders, including the addition of new titles and the removal of existing titles. Many titles are listed in the University Library Catalog, but patrons may search the Kanopy database to see additional availability.
