ENG 366: Black and Multiethnic Literature (Peters, Fall 2020)

Located on the second floor of the library (one floor up from the library entrance but technically the third floor of the building). At the top of the stairs, turn right and then make a quick left. The collection will be on your left, across from Library Classroom 2.

Call numbers look like CH/YA Class Author Title (3 letters) Date

The collection is shelved by for broad classification: Bio, Easy, Fic, and Dewey.

  • Bio: Biographies
  • Easy: Picture books and easy chapter books
  • Fic: Chapter books to Young Adult novels
  • Dewey: Non-fiction and other literature (poetry, plays, etc.)

Locate the classification section, then locate the book alphabetically by author name and title of book.

The end cap signs say CH/YA and the class, here Easy and Fiction. Shelf signs tell the class and the author last name range.
