Create a custom region

When you want to divide a location in different categories than county, county subdivision, zipcode, etc provided by PolicyMap, you can create a custom region.

1. In PolicyMap, click on the button to the right of the search box, as pictured above.
In the pop up box, select 

Create Region (step 2) below
Choose Draw Region, Assembled Region, or Radius Region. (pictured below in step 3 assembled region).
Click continue, step 4.

Then you will select a boundary, and zoom in on the map.

We have zoomed in and selected County subvisions (aka towns), We clicked on the town names to add to "Create Assembeled Region" box.

As you use policy map, to find data, you can reaccess the custom region to apply it.
