P.L. 111-148 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act

On March 23, 2010 President Barack Obama signed H.R. 3950, also known as the Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act (PPAC) into law. One week later he signed H.R. 4872, the Health Care & Education Reconciliation Act into law. This second act reconciles the differences between the House and Senate versions of the PPAC.
