The Rider News, the college's student newspaper, debuted as the Rider Rooster in 1926. It fulfilled student requests for a student-run paper devoted to information about campus life, academic events, and general news. The Rider Rooster was renamed the Roughrider in 1927 and then the Rider College News in 1930. In 1940 the newspaper became the Rider News and continues publishing under that name today.
News at Rider University is a newsletter (also called Rider Faculty/Staff Newsletter) published by Rider University Communications Office. The back issues goes back to October 2010.
